AH Projects were initially approached to look at the feasibility of extending and modernising this former Police station and police house in the village of Bampton. Whilst the existing home had some character, the rooms were not the best laid out and the property was poorly insulated, suffering from damp and issues common with properties of this age.

A very sympathetic scheme was designed to allow a garage, utility, ground floor shower room and an extended garden room with feature lantern rooflight and bifold doors. Existing areas were redesigned with living and kitchen space on the ground floor. A new entrance hallway with feature galleried staircase and landing. At first floor 2 further ensuite bedrooms, the master having a feature vaulted ceiling.
